We, at Coachbuilt, wish everyone a happy, safe, healthy & warm 2018!
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of very good friend and fellow RROC member Robert (Bob) Kuhns, on May 4, 2017, shortly before his 94th birthday. He was an army veteran. Bob resided in Columbus for much of his life & in the early days of Coachbuilt, was a regular feature at the business. Bob was a great businessman, being the president of National Heat Treating & in his spare time, was an excellent artist (his work graces the letterhead of Coachbuilt's stationary). He was very knowledgeable in all things Rolls Royce. Bob could talk for hours about life in the "old days" & would never bore his audience. Bob was a very sharp dresser, and we don't think he even owned a pair of jeans. He was preceded in death by his lovely wife, Susan, and is survived by a son, J. Peter Kuhns, of San Diego, CA., & daughter, Lucy Kuhns, of Neuchatel, Switzerland. We will truly miss this exceptional gentleman, his genuine laugh & very thorough knowledge of all things Rolls Royce.
Every month, Coachbuilt sends out an eMail 'newsletter' to our customers & friends. In it, we announce upcoming or past events, as well as a little self promotion, including announcing any special service deals and cars for sale. If you would like to receive this, please let us know at email@example.com & we'll add you to our list. We would also be happy to include any news you may have that our readers would find interesting.
The Ohio Region RROC now has their newsletter available on line. They have done a beautiful job & we would suggest that everyone take a moment to look it over. It can be easily accessed at www.rrocohioregion.org/newsletter.
The Ohio Region RROC would like to let you know who is currently presiding over this fine organization:
Chairman, Jeff Poole
Technical Advisor, Butch Murphy, Jr.
Member Chairman, Jim Lackey
Ann West, Activities Chairwoman

The incredible Arthritis Foundation Annual Car Show was once again held in Dublin, OH. at the Metro Center, 555 Metro Place North, Dublin, 43017. The event was a huge hit. For information on next year's show, visit their website at www.arthritis.org/autoshow.
The 2017 RROC National Meet was held at the French Lick Resort, French Lick, IN. The meet ran from June 18 to 24. Coachbuilt was in attendance with some vendor's tables offering more unique Rolls Royce & Bentley memorabilia. This was the 66th annual event.
The 2017 AACA Fall Meet, was held from October 4th through 7th, in Hershey, PA. This huge swap meet & car show, once again drew attendees from around the world. Coachbuilt was there in the same spaces they have reserved for many years, C2F, 63-67 in the Chocolate Field. There was plenty of revisiting old friends & some sales made. This is always a favorite show for Jim & Donna.
And in 2018...
The 36th annual Arthritis Foundation Car Show will again be in Dublin OH. The true reason for this show is to raise funds to search for a cure for arthritis, but the added benefit is to allow a wide range of enthusiasts to enjoy a tremendous car show. As in the past several years, there will be a Rolls Royce "Show Within A Show", where separate judging will take place. The 2018 show will be held from July 5-7. Additional information can be found at www.arthritis.org/autoshow.
The 67th annual RROC National Meet will be in Squaw Valley, CA. from August 11 through the 18th, 2018. For additional details, visit the RROC website at www.RROC.org. These always promise to be fun, entertaining & educational events. The 2019 meet will be in Detroit, MI.
The 2018 Antique Auto Club of America Fall Meet will, as always, be in Hershey, PA., from October 10 through the 13th. This gathering always brings buyers, sellers & browsers together from around the world. Coachbuilt has set up a vendor's tent for many years & will be there again, in 2018, in the usual spaces, C2F 63-67, in the chocolate field.
